Domestic Violence is a crime, and we believe in advocating for your legal rights.

Navigating your legal rights and protections may seem overwhelming, but we’re here to come alongside you on your journey to securing a safer future for you and your children. We’ll draw on our relationships and supporters in the courts and law enforcement to ensure you have access to orders of protection against your abusers and assistance with a possible criminal case. We’ll accompany you to civil court hearings and assist you throughout the court process by explaining court procedures and judgments, and advocate for actions or responses with prosecutors, police, attorneys, and probation officers.

We’ll also provide referrals to attorneys, victim assistance providers, and crisis intervention programs, as well as assistance with filing compensation claims with Victims Services.
