Clear's Silat & Street Kung Fu
Clear’s Silat is a street-practical self-defense system developed over the past 30+ years by Sigung Richard Clear and based on his extensive studies, knowledge, and skills in the indigenous arts of Indonesia, China, Tibet, Russia and other cultures.
The arts in this system ( Silat, Pentjak Silat, Kun Tao Silat, Kung Fu, and Systema) are taught for their combative focus and their effectiveness against multiple attackers armed with weapons.
Despite this lofty focus, our average silat student can fight proficiently after 6 months to a year of training and continue to gain knowledge and better themselves and their skills.
Clear’s does a self defense class every two months open to the community. There is a $20.00 charge or $10 with a student id. All the proceeds go to Haven House.

Mane Support
"Horses healing human hearts"
Mane Support offers prevention programs and support groups. They are an equine-assisted grief counseling program especially designed to address the needs of those who have experienced a death, who are anticipating the death of someone they know, or who have experienced other types of trauma. Together with Haven House, the prevention program instructors and the Mane Support Staff use the horses to discuss healthy relationships and find out more about ourselves as individuals. The therapists who facilitate support groups work with Mane Support staff and the horses to help process the trauma related to domestic violence.
